INSIDE THE VAUILT

LEBRON SOLDIER I
The name LeBron James is synonymous with relentless talent and tenacity, so much that he goes “dark” on social media during the playoffs to achieve total focus. And though LeBron earned his first NBA Championship in 2012, he had a number of historic playoff performances beforehand. One such moment, Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals, foreshadowed LeBron’s excellence in the years to come.
It was the fourth quarter, and the Cleveland Cavaliers were up 79-78. With only 6:05 left on the clock, LeBron suddenly turned the volume up, blazing past the Pistons’ defense to score 25 points straight. Wearing the Nike Zoom Soldier I, LeBron was responsible for 29 of those final, crucial 30 points. The Cavs’ win was slim, 109-107, but it ensured a 3-2 series advantage.
To commemorate this unforgettable moment in NBA Playoffs history, Nike is releasing the Nike Zoom Soldier I “25 Straight” with the same blue, white, and gold details as the one LeBron wore during the legendary game on May 31, 2007.
