I'm Sam, I run a footwear magazine and media platform called Hartcopy A lot of what I do is just adding context to footwear

We call it an encyclopedia or a catalogue of culture, contextualising notable pairs or launches that are happening both now,

and then also looking back and understanding designs or contributors to trends that we're seeing nowadays and why that context matters

All footwear styles come and go in waves, I'll fall in love with a piece and wear that for a full season

The field General is kind of an every day any purpose shoe, I could dress it up or dress it down it does everything for me

Rather than 'oh what's the most expensive thing', it's what's the thing that's oldest or hardest to find Or the most interesting, 
and that's where I kind of had my gateway into doing what I do now.
