Nike COVID-19 Response
Dear Athletes,*
*"If You Have a Body, You Are an Athlete."
At Nike, this phrase is part of our mission statement to bring "inspiration and innovation to every athlete* in the world." It’s a reminder that our mission encompasses everyone on the planet.
Right now, as we face daily reminders of our common humanity, our mission remains the same. And we're responding to the call by helping our communities in ways we never have before.
We've assembled our expert scientists, engineers, and designers to create full-face shields and powered, air-purifying respirator (PAPR) lenses to support healthcare workers. We’ve donated more than 140,000 pieces of footwear, apparel and equipment globally to communities in need. We’ve committed more than $25 million, including more than $2 million in employee donations, to support COVID-19 response efforts worldwide. And as we encourage athletes to play it safe, we’ve made NTC Premium free in the US and we’re streaming live workouts on our YouTube channel around the world.
We share this to let you know that we’re trying, like all of us, to do our part.
Because if this moment has taught us anything, it’s that if you have a body, you’re not just an athlete, you’re one of us.

We’re Safely Reopening Our Stores
Where and when it’s safe to do so, we’re reopening Nike owned and operated stores in select locations. We’ll continue to provide world-class service, with a foundation of policies and protocols that prioritize safety and let you experience the best of Nike.
- We’re following a comprehensive, six-step process before we reopen our stores. This includes critical opening procedures, protocols for our buildings, products, consumer communications, and new service guidelines.
- We’re making reusable face coverings available to all Nike store employees.
- We’ve instituted social distancing guidelines with clear signage in all stores.
