The Perfect Weather Jacket
Jacket is perfect for mixed weather while exercising outdoors. It was perfect for the light rain, as well as a warmer day to avoid overheating while exercising outdoors. Lightweight material, but the hood wasn’t comfortable in wearing while outdoors and trying to maintain checking my surroundings. Other than that, it was the perfect jacket!

So when I first got this jacket, I was very excited about it. Well, actually, the whole family was excited, especially my son who tends to wear my Nike apparel when he can fit it. This jacket seems to be of a pretty high-quality and very well made. I do think it runs a little small, but it makes up for that and warmth and features although this is not a winter jacket, it is thick enough to shed you from a decent amount of rain and a chilly night. Now the reason why I say is this a men’s or women’s jacket is because in the back of the hood it seems to be a place for a ponytail to come out or maybe that’s for something completely different. Either way I wore my ponytail through the hole. The jacket is very easy to clean. You can literally just wipe it off and I do believe if you run at night either wear something that has more reflective pieces on it or hopefully Nike will add some more reflective pieces onto this jacket because it would be perfect for an evening run. Would I buy it again? Probably so because I truly don’t wanna share it with my son until he grows out of my size. I promise to include pictures next time, but I’ve been on the move a lot lately and this jacket has been perfect for just that!

The jacket really shines in a fall weather with simply a t shirt underneath. In addition to the warmth of the jacket, the panels on the shoulders help protecting from the wind and some light rain. The hoodie is a nice addition and can also be worn underneath a full waterproof jacket if needed in the winter. The jacket is no too bulky, stretched and super comfortable which is a good point. The only downside could be the breathability, I found myself sweating a little more than usual wearing it.

Comfortable and lightweight
The Nike Sphere Miler Men's Therma-FIT Water-Repellent Running Jacket is quite comfortable, lightweight, and fits true to size. I am 6'1" and the length of the torso and sleeves seem to be perfect. It feels warm enough for you to run with on more brisk days (depending on the person, I wouldn't advise it on days below 40°F-50°F) and lightweight enough for you to take off and carry if you get too hot. The fabric is soft both inside and out, keeping it breathable, but on the other hand, this also means it loses the windbreaker aspect of other running jackets. Personally, I prefer this over windbreakers since those just hold in all the heat and moisture. The jacket also does a great job with repelling water. Unless you're caught in an absolute downpour, water seems to just bead up and run right off. I can also honestly see myself lounging around the house in it as well with how comfortable it is.
The design is very low profile but you remain visible if you like to run at night due to the touches of reflective material. Surprisingly, the hood is a lot warmer than you'd expect and I absolutely love the adjustability of it. The small lace locks make it feel more advanced/"techy" than some basic laces that you'd have to tie in a knot and do a great job at keeping the hood secured to your head. The hood itself fits like a glove. At first I thought the hood covered the logo on the back when down, which was one of my favorite parts of the design, but this can be fixed simply by just tightening the hood a little bit. I also really like that there are (2) interior pockets included in addition to the (2) zippered exterior pockets.
One small gripe I had was that I wish the sleeve ends were cuffed, adjustable like the hood, or simply just tighter. At times I can feel a breeze going up the sleeve which isn't ideal. Overall though, this is a great jacket.

Perfect for the runners who love outside.
I’ve been a runner for over 20 years that likes to run outside but living in Wisconsin sometimes the weather makes that difficult. The thermal materials in this jacket made running in cords than idea weather more enjoyable. The flow of air into the jacket also made the jacket feel more breathable during long runs, so it didn’t feel like heat was being trapped on the body. The jacket is also very stylish so I could wear it casually to hangout with friends in some of my favorites shoes and not look like I was about to workout. I really like the fit of the jacket, it was fit but not too tight where I felt like I couldn’t move. I would add some brighter colors to the jacket or reflective materials so that while running in low visibility the person could still be seen.

A decent jacket to have around
I was looking for a jacket that could be potentially used for both running and casual use as the weather begins to change in my area and thought this looked like it could be a winner.
Breaking down the jacket, visually it’s decent looking. I got the black version of the it and I’m a fan of the way it looks. Only a few hits of branding, which is a positive, the black looks very nice, and the jacket is soft to the touch. It’s lined with a thermal material which is also seen on the arms and body of the right of the jacket. It also features a hood with bungie cord hoops, two front pockets with a zippers as well as two additional deep pockets inside the jacket which is an added bonus. In terms of sizing, I’m 5’11 and got a size Large and I would say that it runs pretty true to size.
I know that I mentioned that the jacket didn’t have that much branding on it (a Nike check on the front left chest, two reflected strips on the arms, reflective THERMA-FIT writing on the back right side) but it does have a large Nike check on the back of it which I am not the biggest fan of. I understand the use it this as it adds an another level of visibility, but for casual wear it’s a bit of an eye sore. Also I don’t know if this will be everyone’s experience, but I found the sleeves of the jacket to be a bit form fitting and tight to the body.
This leads me to my final point; I would’t wear this on very cold days. I find the jacket to be too thin personally for that sort of use and with the arms being so tight to the body, layering this on top of thicker shirt or sweater would be a bit difficult. This is something I would wear on slightly chilly days, but then the weather starts to really drop, I would throw something else on. There hasn’t been that much rain so I was unable to truly test the water-repellent nature of it unfortunately.
Overall, I would say the jacket is solid but not amazing.

Lightweight and Great Quality!
This jacket was everything I was hoping and looking for in a running jacket. It is warm and cozy enough without feeling like you’d want to take it off while on a run. My favorite thing about it is how lightweight it is! It has a stylish design and I’m sure I’ll be wearing it year-round especially during those chilly morning runs. I’d say it’s true to size and the fit is perfect. I wouldn’t change anything about this jacket. I’d love it in other colors!

I wasn’t expecting much from this jacket at first. It looks a typical thin windbreaker but it’s much more than that. It is lightweight, but will still keep you warm thanks to the Therma-Fit lining on the inside (very soft, thermal-like texture). This is the perfect jacket to throw on in the winter to run some errands, walk the dog, or go for a quick run! The reflective design emblems with the Nike swoosh not only adds flair but is a great safety feature as well. The outside is made of two different materials that make it both breathable and water resistant, but personally I would have liked the entire outer shell to have the nylon/water-resistant layer. My favorite feature would have to be the zippered pockets and of course the Therma-fit lining. Need to get more colors!

Lightweight and Still Warm!
I’ve had this jacket for a few weeks. I’m not much of an outdoor runner, but love a lightweight jacket that works indoors and out. This jacket fits the bill. The jacket itself is soft and breathes very well and is comfortable in the fickle weather of a southern Fall season.
There are two different textures of fabric in the jacket - the body and the sleeves. The body is soft and a typical windbreaker material; nothing too wild. The sleeves are almost like a hoodie, soft and breathable. I think the sleeves are my favorite part of this jacket. Typically “running jackets” have thumb holes to help keep them in place. This jacket does not, but it has elastic in the cuffs that keep the sleeves perfectly in place - pushed up or down. They are a great length to pull over my hands when it’s a little chillier. (Please enjoy the awkward picture of the sleeve length below.)
The pockets are a great size for a phone or keys. I feel like the zipper pulls on the pockets and jacket are a bit small, but seems more streamline when running ~ less likely to accidentally unzip.
I’m 5’4 and the jacket would fit a little better if I were taller (most clothes would), but overall the length is perfect. It doesn’t ride up like other jackets when wearing a backpack.
The only downside I’ve noticed in my first wears of the season are that several strings have come out of the stitching on the sleeve cuffs - nothing major, just the end of the thread they were put on with (about 3/4 of an inch that was not there when I received the jacket in the mail). There has also been two “fuzzy patches” where the fabric on the sleeve has begun to wear. These “flaws” aren’t anything that I think will shorten the lifespan of my love of the jacket.
TLDR: Great jacket. Very comfy. Nice, soft texture. Not sure how it would hold up in rain.

I think the jacket is really comfortable and breathable. It’s a nice fabric and it’s not scratchy!
