To celebrate the release of the Air Jordan I Mid SE Fearless ‘Maison Château Rouge’, we partnered up with Sneakersnstuff for a SNEAKRS Pass pop-up location. In the middle of Château Rouge, a Parisian neighbourhood known for its cultural diversity, we caught up with its community as they shared their love for sneakers.

Shynie is a sales representative from Argenteuil.
“I immediately fell in love with them! These Satins are my fifth pair of AJ I’s already and I got them just before I went on a trip to New York. I love make-up and the red satin reminds me a lot of a red lip gloss colour.”

Timothee is a student from Massy-Palaiseau.
“These OFF-WHITE Air Max 90’s were a gift from Youssouf (founder of Maison Château Rouge) who has always been an example, so these sneakers are very important to me. They are simply very beautiful, and always good to show off with!”

Neneh is a fashion student at L’Institut Français de la Mode in Paris, originally from Villepinte.
“My brother designed these AJ I Mid ‘MCR’, so they always remind me of him, but also my parents and Africa. There is a story behind every color and pattern in the sneaker, but most importantly, to me these sneakers symbolize how you can start from nothing to doing everything you want.”

Pauline is a textile designer living in Paris.
“I used to wear these every day and night when I worked for Maison Château Rouge, I still do, they’re my favorite! The originality of the Converse JW Anderson represents my personality, and my love for art and design. It’s so important to allow your imagination to take over.”

Dorian works for Sneakersnstuff and is from Bagnolet.
“I only buy Air Jordan I’s, they’re classic and age very well. Even when they’re dirty and worn out, they’re still dope. Like these Air Jordan I Game Royals, they remind me of when Michael Jordan used to wear them on court and the shape would still be good after playing.”
