P3 is a femme exclusive party
but also open to trans men
that we've been doing now for five occasions

I am Le Diouck, I am an artist, singer, illustrator too
My music, it's quite hybrid
it goes through my different influences,
I navigate between rock, afro, hip-hop...

and the next project that I'm going to release is really a mixture of all that
My name is Christelle, aka CRYSTALLMESS
and I am a DJ and visual artist

For me, being a DJ means being free to be able to play
as I want, but it's also respecting the fact that there is a know-how.
It's also just mastering it's technique

My name is Binetou Sylla
I live between Paris, Lomé and Dakar and I am a music producer.
At the head of the historical label Syllart Records

and founder of the Wèrè Wèrè Music label
which are African music labels.
It was important for us to create a space
for non-white queer people.
A space in which
we don't need to apologise, to be who we are, to dance
as you want, to dress as you want

to party as you want, to love as you want.
It was important to us to have the safest space possible.
There really is something
between music, sneakers, dance which intertwine each time

I think the new Nike Cortez, it kinda looks like
a kind of jewels and magma at the same time
Fiery kind.
Throw it over! Yeah !
Aaaahh ! *laughter*
For me, the Cortez is a classic.

Black and red, it's sexy, so it's a little burgundy smokes like that!
I grew up with rap culture, hip hop culture, so indeed,
trainers and sneakers, all of them, they all go together

I believe that Paris is the city of Afro musics.
France, people don't know enough about it, but the first black diaspora in Europe,
it is in France

So we really have a very special story about the transmission
of music, of black and afro music which have been created in Paris.

We know that zouk, soukouss, or even what has been called world music
in the 80s
it had a lot of importance in Paris and I would even say that it was actually born in Paris
I think we are lucky to be in a great city, we have so much potential. 

I think all DJs owe Jamaican culture
and sound system culture because it is an innovative culture
It's the one that revolutionized the use of turntables

It doesn't come out of nowhere
It really comes from these guys who were kind of crazy magicians,
who did not use the tools as they were asked to do at all
to use the tools, meaning a record player
originally, it was a record player

it was not made for mixing stuff together
or like to experiment. 
it was just made to listen to music
and it's true that the Jamaican sound system culture
brought this experimental side :
mix two tracks together, 

put it all loudly together, and also even slow down
really get back to the bass with the dub, and so on and so forth...
If we count the sound systems, the crazy sound system,
honestly like... the Carbone?
or the Rex, but I haven't been there in years 

otherwise hmm... *laughing*
The ideal sound system in Paris?
It sure would be a mix of a bit of Ghana
a bit of Lomé, a bit of Dakar, a bit of Abidjan.

Bamao, Andy4K, Papi Julio...
I would invite Sydfalls, a Chicago based artist called RP Boo,
Nia Archives because I love the jungle music
and I think DJ Dahi, Goldie...

It's actually the idea to hear the bass, that you can feel in your body
