Introducing Nike's new iconic running apparel collections: Nike Swift and Stride

Nike is launching the next generation of running gear: Nike Swift for women and Nike Stride for men. The collections feature stylish, high-performance running essentials with an improved fit and feel that helps runners reach their next training milestone.

Think of Swift and Stride as the essential pieces of every runner's wardrobe. The collections feature tried-and-tested Nike sweat-wicking Dri-FIT technology, plus features like Storm-FIT technology, UV protection, Therma-FIT technology and 360-degree reflective design details to help runners reach their goals all year round, whenever or wherever in the world they're running. Plus, each item in the collection has been tested by a diverse range of runners in terms of age and body type. The result: a line of go-to staples you'll rely on for every run, alongside your favourite pair of running shoes.

For women, the Swift Collection is made up of 10 versatile pieces that were obsessively tested. Based on runners' feedback, classics like the Dri-FIT running shorts and leggings were upgraded with an even better fit to improve chafing. The Nike Swoosh Bra is also back and better than ever, providing women, at long last, with a sports bra that's comfortable, supportive, easy to get on and off—and free of removable pads. The collection also features stylish pieces like the Nike Swift mid layers and running tops that can be easily layered with a jacket to transition from a run to a pickleball class or the gym—and on to the rest of the day.

The collection includes a range of classic and on-trend colours to complement runners' expressions and style preferences. "When I put on these pieces, I feel seen, supported and ready to take on any challenge—be it a gentle jog or a marathon", Ferrall says.

The Stride Collection for men features four ultralight, breathable wardrobe staples made with sweat-wicking Dri-FIT technology, including a T-shirt, half-zip top, shorts and trousers. Each item has been carefully updated, keeping fit and function in mind. Think shorts with new and improved pockets to fit a larger iPhone and running tops with more ventilation and breathability. The collection also includes a reintroduction to the lightweight rain jacket of choice for so many since 1979: the Nike Windrunner. An evolution of the classic, the Nike Stride UV Repel Jacket features performance and fit updates that bring this jacket into 2024, like a new hood design and 360-degree reflective design—plus it comes in a packable, travel-friendly size.
