Lewis Marnell dominated the Melbourne skate scene and was one of Nike SB's first Australian riders. Lewis passed away from complications with diabetes in January 2013, and five years later this Nike SB Dunk Mid Pro, a favourite of Marnell's, celebrates and pays tribute to the skater who set the standard for Nike SB in Australia. A premium upper, in a colourway Lewis made his own, is decorated with his iconic lion graphic on the heel. "Lewis skated Dunks all the time. He made them look so fresh, that we all wanted to own them so we could look the same", says Shane O'Neill. In honour of Lewis and what he meant to the skate community and Nike SB family, we've made a donation to a non-profit foundation for the benefit of diabetes research.
