[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the OGs! I'm glad they brought them back. They fit and look great. The black/ varsity red colorway is sick!

Make Metcons gym shoes again!!!!
I have owned multiple pairs of metcons, been buying them since they first came out, every version from 1-6, multiple pairs of 1’s and 2’s, I still train in metcon 2’s because I have worn out all of my other pairs. Nike progressively has taken away the features i liked to make them more and more into a crossfit shoe. (Not everyone wants to be the most average athelete on the planet)
My favorites are the metcon 2’s and 4’s. The fit, the toe box and stability when lifting is great, I dont like the new 5+ versions because I dont like squatting and deadlifting with a raised heal or a cushion because i dont like the lack of stability that comes with it.
I will probably keep buying these but i wish they were the 2 or 4’s.
Make metcons gym shoes again there are plenty of cross trainer shoes on the market no need for more.

Don’t fix what isn’t broken
Stopped buying metcons after third version, this has been a long time coming. Perfect example of don’t fix it if it isn’t broken. Good job Nike, now bring back the invincible version 2!!!!

The Metcon 1-4 were the perfect training shoe, firm footsole, thin tongue and flywire to give you a supportive fit. Every version Nike has made since has got progressively worse to train in (I’ve owned every one). Wish they would bring back the Metcon 4, that was the absolute best shoe that was made to train in with the same footsole as this version but with more heel support and a more rigid textured upper for durability.

As someone who enjoys the Metcon line, I was happy to see these return almost 10 years from it's first release. I am a sucker for the story behind a shoe and I like the "banned" colorway in this shoe story, similar to the "Bred" Jordan 1's! As a training shoe they provide the stability needed for my HIIT training with its traction and flat surface. These ran true to size for me. Metcons look and feel great! Love this as a casual gym shoe for my weightlifting/HIIT workouts.

Great fit with a wider toe box than other Metcons for that nice toe splay.
