We traversed 46 miles of Costa Rican rainforest to ensure this jacket can stand up against rain, wind and humidity. As we went, we saw the Morpho butterfly—the namesake of this jacket. In addition to windproof and waterproof technology, we designed this layer with a loose fit and adjustable openings to make it ideal when the storm rolls in. And when the rain clouds pass, just pack it away in the included pouch.

Tested in Corcovado National Park, Costa Rica
We packed our bags and headed to Corcovado National Park for a 46-mile expedition to test this jacket. This beautiful Costa Rican rainforest is a tropical paradise of staggering natural beauty and biodiversity. It's also an area prone to sun, rain and humidity—the perfect environment to make sure this jacket is ready for your adventures.
Ready for the storm
Nike Storm-FIT ADV technology combines windproof and waterproof fabric with advanced engineering and features to help keep you comfortable in harsh weather conditions. If you see a storm on the horizon, tighten with the bungee cords at the hem and hood. Get your sleeves to the right tightness using the hook-and-loop closures at the cuffs.

How This Was Made
- The recycled nylon in Nike products begins as a variety of materials, including recycled carpet and used fish nets. The nylon is cleaned, sorted and converted into flakes before undergoing chemical or mechanical recycling processes to create new, recycled nylon yarns.
